The scheduling options appear as per the license you are using. Depending upon your license, you might be\/not be able to see all the scheduling options in the <strong>Scheduling Type<\/strong> drop-down list of the Task Plan.<\/p>\n<p>Nimble supports 4 types of scheduling to help you manage your tasks &#8211;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Default scheduling<\/li>\n<li>Simple scheduling<\/li>\n<li>Advanced scheduling<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft Project Scheduling<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\"><strong>Note:<\/strong> For non-software category template projects where the subscription plan is &#8220;Team,&#8221; the Task Menu will be hidden.<\/p>\n<h3>Default scheduling<\/h3>\n<p>Default Scheduling is best suitable for small and medium-sized projects where limited scheduling capabilities are required.\u00a0 Use Simple scheduling for Task Plans when:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\">1) Planned Start &amp; Finish Dates are optional<br \/>\n2) Option to roll up Start &amp; Finish dates to a summary task<br \/>\n3) Set Finish-to-Start (FS) dependencies between tasks with dates<\/p>\n<p>Read more about the default schedule <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nimblework.com\/knowledge-base\/nimble\/article\/default-scheduling\/\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Simple scheduling<\/h3>\n<p>Simple Scheduling is best suited for small to medium-scale projects with small teams, consisting of around 2000 tasks. Using Simple Scheduling, Project Managers can control their project schedule and make the necessary updates using simple scheduling capabilities. The Simple Scheduling capabilities will be available to you as per your Enterprise plan.
