When users delete a Forms 2.0-based workitem, it is not erased immediately. Instead, it is transferred to a temporary holding area \u2014 the Purge Data screen \u2014 where it remains until an administrator purges it manually.<\/p>\n<p>This safeguard ensures that accidental deletions can be reviewed before becoming irreversible. Once purged, the data <strong>cannot be recovered<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Navigation<\/h3>\n<p>To access the Purge Data screen:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Navigate to <strong>HP Homesphere<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click on <strong>Administration<\/strong> in the left navigation panel.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Purge Data<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>This opens the screen where all deleted workitems across projects are listed.<\/p>\n<p>To access the Purge Data screen, navigate to the project, hover over the top breadcrumb, expand the <b>Configure<\/b>\u00a0menu, and select\u00a0<b>Business Rules 2.0<\/b>.<\/p>\n<h3>Layout of Purge Data<\/h3>\n<p>The Purge Data screen is organized in a clear hierarchical structure to simplify locating deleted items:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Project<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Card Type<\/strong> (Forms)\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Cards<\/strong> (Deleted workitems)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each deleted workitem is shown under its respective project and card type. You\u2019ll also find:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A checkbox to select individual or multiple items.<\/li>\n<li>A prominent <strong>Purge<\/strong> icon on the top right for initiating the bulk deletion.<\/li>\n<li>An information banner: <em>&#8220;Only deleted data can be purged. Purged data cannot be recovered.&#8221;<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Managing Deleted Workitems<\/h3>\n<p>To permanently delete (purge) one or more deleted workitems:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to the <strong>Purge Data<\/strong> screen.<\/li>\n<li>Expand the desired <strong>Project<\/strong> and <strong>Card Type<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Select one or more workitems using the checkboxes.<\/li>\n<li>Click the <strong>Purge<\/strong> icon at the top right of the screen.<\/li>\n<li>Confirm the deletion in the pop-up dialog.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Bulk Purge Capability<\/strong>: You can now select and purge multiple deleted Forms 2.0 workitems at once, saving time and ensuring faster cleanup.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u26a0\ufe0f <strong>Important<\/strong>: Purged items are permanently deleted and cannot be restored.
