The resource manager assigns and maintains the resources for projects. <a id=\"Navigation\"><\/a>It is necessary to add and manage users in the Organization before allocating them to projects as team members.<\/p>\n<h2>Navigation<\/h2>\n<p><a id=\"InviteUsers\"><\/a>In the left navigation panel, expand the <strong>Apps<\/strong> menu, then select <strong>Account Space<\/strong>. You can view the user profile page by clicking on the <strong>USER PROFILE<\/strong> button on the user Details view page and can access\/update the user&#8217;s skills and proficiency. <a id=\"LockUser\"><\/a>To learn more about the user profile, click <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nimblework.com\/knowledge-base\/nimble\/article\/how-to-update-my-profile\/\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Steps to Lock a User<\/h2>\n<p>To restrict a user from accessing the application in an organization, you can lock a user account. A locked user is unallocated from all the projects in which the user is a team member. You cannot assign a role to a locked user, as a locked user will not be available for assignments and allocations of projects. You need to unlock the user to make the user available for assignments.<\/p>\n<p>To lock a user,<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Click the <strong>Lock Use<\/strong>r icon from the More Options on the user listing page.<\/li>\n<li>On locking the user, the user\u2019s name is prefixed with the Lock on the User List page. An error message is displayed when you try to lock such a user, informing you that the specified user name is the Editor for a project. <a id=\"UnlockUser\"><\/a>You need to assign another user with the Editor role and then lock the required user.<\/p>\n<h2>Steps to Unlock a User<\/h2>\n<p>To unlock users,<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Click the <strong>Unlock User<\/strong> icon from the More Options section of the users listing page.<\/li>\n<li>After being unlocked, the prefix Lock is removed for the unlocked user&#8217;s name in the listing of resources and throughout the organization, including the projects to which the user is allocated.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nimblework.com\/knowledge-base\/nimble\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/UnlockUser.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-10105\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nimblework.com\/knowledge-base\/nimble\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/UnlockUser.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1122\" height=\"602\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.nimblework.com\/knowledge-base\/nimble\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/UnlockUser.png 1122w, https:\/\/www.nimblework.com\/knowledge-base\/nimble\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/UnlockUser-300x161.png 300w, https:\/\/www.nimblework.com\/knowledge-base\/nimble\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/UnlockUser-1024x549.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.nimblework.com\/knowledge-base\/nimble\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/UnlockUser-768x412.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1122px) 100vw, 1122px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"313\" data-end=\"338\"><\/h2>\n<h2>Deleting a User<\/h2>\n<p>To delete a user at the account level:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Select the required user.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Click the <b>Delete<\/b> option.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><b>What Happens Next<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>If the User is NOT a Timesheet Approver:<\/strong> A confirmation message is displayed: <b>\u201cUser will no longer be available.\u201d<\/b><\/li>\n<li>Click <b>Delete<\/b> to confirm.<\/li>\n<li>The user is removed from the account.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>If the User is Assigned as a Timesheet Approver: <\/b>If the selected user is assigned as a Timesheet Approver for one or more projects, the system requires reassignment before deletion.<\/p>\n<p>The <b>Reassign Timesheet Approver<\/b> window is displayed.<\/p>\n<p>In this window:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">A list of projects is shown where the user is assigned as an approver.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">You must select a <b>new approver for each project<\/b>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After assigning new approvers:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Click <b>Update Approver<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Proceed with deleting the user<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><b>Note: <\/b>A user cannot be deleted from the account while assigned as a Timesheet Approver without reassigning their responsibilities.<\/p>\n<h3>Reassign Timesheet Approver (If Applicable)<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"612\" data-end=\"739\">If the user being deleted is configured as a <strong data-start=\"657\" data-end=\"679\">Timesheet Approver<\/strong> for any project, the system will not allow direct deletion.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"741\" data-end=\"855\">A <strong data-start=\"743\" data-end=\"774\">Reassign Timesheet Approver<\/strong> window appears, listing all projects where the user is assigned as the approver.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"741\" data-end=\"855\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nimblework.com\/knowledge-base\/nimble\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Reassign-Timesheet-Approver.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-23488\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nimblework.com\/knowledge-base\/nimble\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Reassign-Timesheet-Approver.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"964\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"857\" data-end=\"868\">To proceed:<\/p>\n<ol data-start=\"870\" data-end=\"1047\">\n<li data-start=\"870\" data-end=\"948\">\n<p data-start=\"873\" data-end=\"948\">For each listed project, select a new Timesheet Approver from the dropdown.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"949\" data-end=\"980\">\n<p data-start=\"952\" data-end=\"980\">Click <strong data-start=\"958\" data-end=\"979\">REASSIGN APPROVER<\/strong>.<a id=\"ChangePassword\"><\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"981\" data-end=\"1047\">\n<p data-start=\"984\" data-end=\"1047\">After successful reassignment, continue with deleting the user.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Steps to Change the Password for a User<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Once the user is created, click the <strong>Change Password<\/strong> icon from the Details view of the following user.<\/li>\n<li>To change your password, an email has been sent to your linked account to change your password.<\/li>\n<li>Check your mail.
