Every new project comes with a default Work Hub, which you can easily tailor to your workflow.<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"Navigation\"><\/a>There are now <strong>two ways to configure lanes in the Work Hub<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\" data-spread=\"false\">\n<li><strong>Manual configuration<\/strong> \u2014 Add and edit lanes directly using the Board Editor.<\/li>\n<li><strong>AI-based configuration<\/strong> \u2014 If you have a sample board image\u2014whether it\u2019s a product screenshot or a hand-drawn sketch\u2014upload it, and AI will automatically generate digital lanes and columns for you.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>You can even set a column in your lane as a <strong>Percent Progress Column<\/strong>, where the horizontal position of cards visually communicates % progress, making it easy for stakeholders to track initiatives and projects.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-22461 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nimblework.com\/knowledge-base\/nimble\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/BoardEditor.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"2460\" height=\"1314\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.nimblework.com\/knowledge-base\/nimble\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/BoardEditor.png 2460w, https:\/\/www.nimblework.com\/knowledge-base\/nimble\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/BoardEditor-300x160.png 300w, https:\/\/www.nimblework.com\/knowledge-base\/nimble\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/BoardEditor-1024x547.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.nimblework.com\/knowledge-base\/nimble\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/BoardEditor-768x410.png 768w, https:\/\/www.nimblework.com\/knowledge-base\/nimble\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/BoardEditor-1536x820.png 1536w, https:\/\/www.nimblework.com\/knowledge-base\/nimble\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/BoardEditor-2048x1094.png 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 2460px) 100vw, 2460px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Navigation<\/h2>\n<p><a id=\"Lane\"><\/a>Navigate to the breadcrumb at the top and hover over the Project name, expand the\u00a0<strong>Execute<\/strong> module, and select <strong>Work Hub<\/strong><b>. <\/b>Click on the <strong>Board Editor<\/strong> icon on the required lane in the Work Hub.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"whs55\">Lane<\/h2>\n<h3>Steps to Add Lane<\/h3>\n<p>To add a new lane perform the following steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Click the <strong>Add<\/strong> icon on an existing lane.<\/li>\n<li>In the Lane Settings pop-up, enter the Title and Description.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Save<\/strong>. The new lane will be seen below the existing lane.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Also, the lanes can be easily added by using an empty placeholder.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"whs29\">Steps to Edit Lane<\/h3>\n<p>To edit a lane perform the following steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Click the <b>Settings <\/b>icon on the lane.<\/li>\n<li>In the Lane Settings pop-up, update the Title and Description.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3 class=\"whs29\">Other Operations to be performed on Lanes<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Delete:<\/strong> To delete a lane, click the <strong>Delete<\/strong> icon. <b>Note:<\/b> If a lane contains cards, then it cannot be deleted.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Move Up Lane:\u00a0 <\/strong>To move a Lane upwards, click the <strong>Move Up<\/strong> icon.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Move Down Lane:<\/strong> To move a Lane downwards, click the <strong>Move Down<\/strong> icon.<\/li>\n<li><b><a id=\"Columns\"><\/a>Copy Lane: <\/b>To copy a Lane, click the <strong>Copy Lane<\/strong> icon. In the New Lane Settings pop-up, update the Title and the Description. Click <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"whs55\">Columns<\/h2>\n<h3 class=\"whs29\">Column Types<\/h3>\n<p>You can classify a column as a \u2018Ready\u2019, \u2018In-Progress\u2019, \u2018Waiting\u2019, or \u2018Done\u2019 type column. It will help you track the progress made by the workitem. Also, if a card is moved to the \u2018Done\u2019 column, it will be considered completed.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"whs29\">Column Operations<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"whs27\"><b>Move column to Left: <\/b>It lets you move a column to the immediate left.<\/li>\n<li class=\"whs27\"><strong>Move column to Right:<\/strong> It lets you move a column to the immediate right.<\/li>\n<li class=\"whs27\"><strong>Split column vertically:<\/strong> It lets you split a column vertically.<\/li>\n<li class=\"whs27\"><b>Split column horizontally: <\/b>It lets you split a column horizontally.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Add column to Left<\/strong>: It lets you add a new column to the immediate left.<\/li>\n<li><b>Add column to Right: <\/b>It lets you add a new column to the immediate right.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Delete column:<\/strong> It lets you delete a column.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Configure column:<\/strong> To edit a column, perform the following steps:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nimblework.com\/knowledge-base\/nimble\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Column-settings-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-14095\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nimblework.com\/knowledge-base\/nimble\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Column-settings-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"895\" height=\"493\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>To modify a column, perform the following steps &#8211;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Click the <b>Configure column <\/b>icon.<\/li>\n<li>In the <b>Column Settings<\/b> pop-up, update the Title and Description.<\/li>\n<li><b>Column Type<\/b>:Set as Ready, In-Progress, Waiting, or Done; cards in Done are considered complete.<\/li>\n<li><b><a id=\"WIPLimitforaColumn\"><\/a>WIP Limit:<\/b> The work in progress (WIP) limit set the maximum cards allowed; exceeding it shows the count in red in the Column Header. For example, 8\/5 in red font indicates there are eight cards in the column exceeding its WIP limit of five. Click <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><b>% Progress Column: <\/b>To enable this column as a % Progress Column, checkmark this option. Once you enable this option, <a id=\"AILaneBuilder\"><\/a>the <b>%<\/b>\u00a0<b>Progress Criteria<\/b> option gets enabled which includes two options: Card % Complete and Child % Complete. The system uses AI to analyze the image and create a digital version of the board, including lanes and swimlane names.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why this matters:<\/strong><br \/>\nThis feature helps teams quickly digitize their existing physical workflows without manually recreating each lane and column, saving time and ensuring consistency between physical and digital boards.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Steps to Generate Lanes via Image Upload:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\" data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">Go to the <strong>Work Hub &gt; click Board Editor &gt;<\/strong> select the
