As a company, we understand that Sexual Harassment can be a traumatic experience for any individual, and we are committed to preventing it from happening within our workplace. To address this, we have implemented POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) policy that is in line with the provisions of the Sexual Harassment of women at the workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013. Sexual Harassment would mean any one or more of the following unwelcome behavior (whether directly or by implication) namely:
● Physical contact & advances
● A demand or request for sexual favours
● Making sexually coloured remarks
● Showing pornography
● Any other unwelcome physical, Verbal or non-verbal conduct of sexual nature
The policy remains applicable when working from home and goes hand in hand with the Code of Conduct and Dress Code policy.
Prevention of sexual harassment
The following circumstances, among other circumstances, if it occurs, or is present in relation to or connected with any act or behavior of sexual harassment may amount to sexual harassment.
(i) implied or explicit promise of preferential treatment in her employment; or
(ii) implied or explicit threat of detrimental treatment in her employment ; or
(iii) implied or explicit threat about her present or future employment status; or
(iv) interference with her work or creating an intimidating or offensive or hostile work
environment for her; or
(v) humiliating treatment likely to affect her health or safety.
Our POSH policy outlines the prohibited behavior and provides a clear framework for reporting and addressing any incidents of Sexual Harassment. We ensure that our employees are trained on the policy, and we encourage open communication and reporting without any fear of retaliation.
